Together we make a happy community
EAC is a buzzing meeting place and social integration center, a cultural institution which is a known and respected resource amongst city residents. It is also part of a destination (besöksmål) for sustainable local/regional tourismin Gothenburg.
EAC creates “a common whole” where people can interact across age, culture, etc. At EAC, people should feel a sense of belongingness to Linnarhult and its surroundings. Sustainable development is key when it comes to social, environmental and economic growth. The core message is love, respect, and awareness of humans and their relationship to nature.

EAC builds on the four core pillars:
AgroforestryThe EAC provides various cultural and action based activities like ‘odling’, cafe, playground, farming, the activities are connetted to agroforesty. Those enables an international exchange of knowledge of how to work with eco-agroforestry.
|
IntegrationThe EAC has a unique local village mentality where the relation building aspects are key. It brings together diverse stakeholders as communities, individuals, organizationsand institutions coming from different backgrounds, parts of Göteborg and the world
EAC want to build bridge between Sweden and other countries- especially those in East Africa, that normally do not meet in day-to-day interactions. |
EducationThe EAC also provides a shared learning space where different methodologies should be taught. Parents and guardians, community members, visitors, teachers, and participants will become role models for children and other adults in order to move towards a sustainable future.
|
ImpermanenceThe EAC is formed by the actors involved and grows and develops over time. To concreatize this vision, there is a need to find out what is of interest locally and regionally. Through repeated actions, a more permanent structure is created.
